Music: Chilly Gonzales, Timber Timbre and Memphis

The first song is off Chilly Gonzales' totally awesome new orchestra rap album (The Unspeakable Chilly Gonzales), second is a wonderful piece of Timber Timbre's self-titled album from 2009 and the last is from the new Memphis album (Here Comes A City)

I totally love this stuff, be sure to check out the artists and their albums :)

The Beast Inside of Me.

The beast inside of me.

To live alone one must be a beast or a god, says Aristotle. Leaving out the third case: one must be both -- a philosopher.
- Friedrich Nietzsche

(you are better off reading him in German, but I wanted to make the quote accesible to everyone, thus the English translation.)

Self-Portrait

"My Saturday Night. My Saturday night is like a microwave burrito. Very tough to ruin something that starts out so bad to begin with."

Nazarenos

Another post with some of my photos; The first is a self-portrait I did at my fathers place some time ago, as you can see I added some bokeh since I wanted to experiment with this kind of editing. I think it looks okay?

The second one is a humble attempt to creat a somewhat film-noir kind of atmosphere, I like the blurry, dark looking of the photo. It was in a bar in Seville.

At last, there is a random shot of some religious people during the semana santa in Seville, they're called Nazarenos and they walk around in parades during easter.

I put these three together in a post because they're all B/W and in a rather dark, blurry mood. Hope you like them. Also be sure to check out my Flickr for more photos :)

ROMA II (VATICAN/VIA CAVOUR/SAN LORENZO)

As you might have guessed, I was in Rome for the easter holidays and I finally managed to upload some shots of that great city. These are just some random photgraphs, I just uploaded the ones I like the most or that inspire me the most.

We stayed in San Lorenzo, which is kind of the student neighbourhood with lots of bars and clubs, naturally we also strolled about in the ancient or older parts of the city, visiting museums like the Vatican Musem and such.

The photos in the previous post were all taken in a bar in San Lorenzo: MenteLocale. I went there a few times and Danilo the local barkeeper really made the best cocktails I had in Rome. I always had a great time, especially the Martinis and his own special recipe cocktail were excellent!

I was also really amazed by all the great street art in Rome, I saw SpaceInvader, I think some local guy called "Hogre" and probably a few Banksy's (was he in Rome?!)... I'll probably upload more pictures of the all street art later.

Please comment and criticise, give advice or just say hello :-)
